Martha’s Vineyard

It was a sunny morning. My family and I were going to Martha’s Vineyard. My dad drove us.

It took us 2 hours to get there. Jasmine and I wanted a movie on the way there. We arrived at the bike trail. I took my bike out. My dad and sister were first, then me and my mom. On the way to the ferry, we saw the ocean. The ocean was blue and green. It was sparkling. Finally I saw the ferry. It was a big boat; there could be cars on the boat. My family gave the man our bikes, and then we went to the top of the boat and sat down. I heard the load horn, I ate some food and we were there.

On the second day, in the morning, I woke up at 5:30 and got dressed. I went out with my mom and dad. I saw the light from the sun. The sky was blended with Pink, Purple, Red, Grey, Orange and Blue. I watched as the sun slowly came up. It was a circle and it was orange. It was pretty and bright. It was cold and windy. I had to hide with my mom.

On Friday, we went to a bike trail. My mom and I started riding; we had to ride on the road. It was a bumpy road. My teeth clattered. Finally the road was smooth, I tried to take one hand off and I did it. I was so excited. I pretended I had a cell phone. Daddy showed us he could take both hands off. My mom said she couldn’t do that. I told her I would try that. I took both hands off slowly and I did it. I did a lot of biking, we biked 20 miles. I was happy I learned a lot of tricks.

I had a good vacation. I loved biking. I wished I could ride more. It was fun biking. I never had so much fun.
