On a sunny hot Saturday, we were going pear picking. We went into the pear orchard. There was a tall ladder leaning on a tree. My Data told me to climb up the ladder and pick the big pears. I climbed one step at a time. It felt wobbly and I was afraid. I went up one more step. My dad told me to pick the pear above me. I reached one hand out while my other hand grabbed onto the ladder. I twisted the pear until it came off. I picked a few more and came off of the ladder.
Finally when our bags were full, we went to the maze. It was a hedge maze. We all got an apple stamp and we went in. My sister was in the front. It was one way first but then we came to a turn. We could choose left of right. We turned left and finally got to the center. We found our way out.
Next we went to the tunnel maze. I wasn’t happy that parents weren’t allowed. I took off my shoes. I crawled inside with my sister close behind. It was dark. I was frightened so I crawled as fast as I could across. The next room had pretty lights. I told my sister to come. We followed the lights. More people came and they were sisters too. So we all helped each other get out. It was like the lights were guiding us. We finally got out. We got a balloon. I had so much fun. I wished I could go again. I had enough fun for today so we went home.
