Acadia (Day 1)

On Saturday morning my family went to Acadia. It was a long drive. When we were close, we stopped for lunch. We were going to have lobsters. I loved lobsters so I was happy to have lobsters. I even got butter to dip the lobster in the butter and it tasted yummy. When we were done, I was very full.

Then we went to our hotel. We got off and mom went to check in while the rest of us waited out side. My mom came out and told us to come in. I was excited to see our room. I helped bring our things in. We went to our room. I went to the window and I could see the pool. I was excited that I can go swimming. I really liked the hotel.

We walked to the sea where I saw a boat that had 4 flags. It looked like a nice place to sail on. My mom told me that it was my dad’s favorite boat. On the boat it said Margaret Todd. There was a big black dog walking on the deck and she was called Maggie. I wanted to keep walking so I told my mom and we kept walking. We walked until I was tired. I told my mom. She said I had to drag myself back.

After the walk, we went to a café to eat dinner. We ordered the food. We waited, waited and waited. I was already yawning. It felt like it would never come. But finally it came. I had Alfredo penne. My mom said her chicken didn’t taste good.
